About us

The Goharian Institute of World Trade Studies and Research was founded in 1981 by Dr. Mohammad Ebrahim Goharian with the aim of conducting studies and researches in order to compile a collection of comprehensive educational-applied books in the fields of world trade and international tourism by writing and translating related books.

The scientific structure of the Institute is under the supervision of CEO, which is the responsibility of Dr. Mohammad Ebrahim Goharian, as well as the Supreme Council of Scientific Policy, consisting of five members, heads of research and educational groups, heads of departments, and senior advisors.

The highest decision-making body in scientific matters is the Supreme Scientific Council, which is managed and implemented by our scientific CEO of the Institute.

The scientific workflows in the institute are as follows: first, the titles of the books are selected by the scientific CEO of the institute, and then with the approval and consultation of the directors, they are translated into Persian translators and then edited and re-edited by technical and literary editors. After the approval of the CEO of the institute, then it will be ready to sign a contract with the publishers.

In the first step, the Institute decided to collect the available resources in its fields of work, and since it did not find the available Persian and Latin resources to meet its needs, it had to import the required resources from abroad. Then, in the next step, the institute invited 20 translators, 5 technical editors, 4 literary editors, 5 typographers, 2 computer operators, and 3 graphic designers to work in a decentralized manner.

The institute has authored or translated a variety of books on world trade, international tourism, and exports, some of which have been published and some are in the process of being published.
